"Marlin Safety" take-down model; .30 cal. "Deluxe Grade." Exceptional walnut grain with checkering. Serial #176507. Marked Special Smokeless Steel on left side of barrel. Post 1904. Tang Marked Model 1893. Caliber marking has been obstructed by a period alteration made on the barrel. Unable to identify exact caliber.
