The British Enfield No. 5 MK1 is a traditional-styled bolt-action rifle chambered for the much desired .303 British. Also known as the British Jungle Carbine, this rifle was designed as a lightweight alternative to a heavier Enfield No. 4 and to meet the demands of airborne forces landing across Europe in the mid-1940’s. However, the British Enfield No. 5 MK1 received most of its combat experience in post-war colonial campaigns such as the Malayan emergency - where it gained it was nicknamed the "Jungle Carbine". This historic military rifle features a sling, flip-up rear aperture sight, fixed post front sight and is marked “England” behind the bolt on the right-side.
