This is a Webley & Sons 44 Bull Dog marked British Lion with J.P. Claybrough & Bro. This is serial number 185 and is matching numbers. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight with a very good bright and shiny bore. It retains 20% blue and the wood grips have sharp checkering. It is not common to find a Webley Bull Dog marked British Lion and is a very interesting variation.
