The backstrap is engraved " TO JUDGE JAMES TUCKER CHEYENNE COUNTY NEBR.
Right side of barrel marked "PRESENTATION"
Left side of barrel marked "U.P.R.R.
This gun was obtained many years ago by the Pony Express Gun Shop in Encino, CA.
The gun belonged to Wild Bill Tucker a Vaudeville actor and showman who was the son of Judge James Tucker and claimed to be a cousin of "Buffalo Bill"
Included with the gun is a folder of information and old photos.
It is chambered for 44/40 cartridge and has been gold plated.
The barrel has been cut to 3.75" and the ejector housing has been removed.
