We offer you a “Pristine” Smith & Wesson Model 12-3 Military & Police Airweight 2” SA/DA .38 Special Revolver manufactured in 1982 in the original box.
This is a less common “SB” square butt version and wears the original factory Smith & Wesson medallion service grips that are in excellent condition as shown. The bluing is in pristine condition with no signs of use as you can see. The lock-up and timing are in excellent with no issues as is the bore and chambers. The original serial number matching box is in very fine condition. All of the corners on the top and bottom are solid with none of the usual tears. Inside the box is the original manual and protective paper as shown.
The right side of the barrel is marked “AIRWEIGHT / 38 SPL. CTG”. The left side of the frame is marked with the S&W logo. The right side of the frame is marked with the four line Marcas Registradas address. The left side of the barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON”. The crane is cut is marked “MOD. 12-3”. The crane is marked "A10 / 53748”. The left grip frame is marked “A10”, "F11", "53748". The right grip frame is marked “N” in a circle, "4554" and “Y” in a triangle. The butt is marked with the serial number “ABC7630. The rear face of the cylinder is marked "0".
