Description:
This open bolt SM11-A1 pistol is like new in its original box. The finish is near perfect on the frame and mag well. Plastic grip is perfect. The only visible wear is on the safety which I believe is aluminum and it is quite common for the blueing to not adhere well. This gun has been in a safe in my safe for over 30 years and I never fired it. You can find open bolt Macs but a majority of them have been rode hard and put away wet. These open bolt MACS regularly bring $1800 to $2000. The .380's didn't sell as well as the 9's and 45's so they made fewer of them. So this gun has 3 things going for its rare in this calibre, excellent condition and desirability. I believe this gun rates between excellent and mint and I am asking $2,250 OBO. Gun comes with original aluminum cleaning rod and mag loader but no mag. Upgrade the one you have or add this to your military collection. I have a lot of other preban or pre 1989 stuff I will be parting with soon. Thanks for looking !!!
