Description:
760 Carbines are prized in the North East Woods by accopmplished woodsman and deer hunters; short, light, compact, easy to handle in heavy cover and when chambered as this gun is in 30 06 can handle any game on the Continent .
This gun has been well used and well cared for in approx 60 yrs since it was made. The front sling swivel should be repaced with a front barrel band as the existing swivel thru the slide handle is less than ideal. Pad added but the stock has not been shortened . There is the beginning of a small drying split left side of the pistol grip next to the receiver; stable and will not likley grow.
