Built in the late 1920s, this gun has 28" barrels choked skeet (.004") and full (.035"). the gun is in excellent original condition retaining 40% of the orignlal case color, 95% of the original barrel blue,and 98% of the original wood finish. The bores are mint and bright. The barrels are on face and in proof and lock up to the action with no play. The stock dimensions are 14"LOP over a checkered butt,11/2" at comb,and 214" at heel, 1/8" cast. The chambers are 25/8" and the gun weighs 6-3. This is a great upland bird gun and a ful gun for clays. It comes cased in the makers original case with a reproduction copy of Alfred Davis's 1920s catalog. A great value in an English double.
