"A, Wurfflein Phila. marked percussion target rifle. “A. Wurfflein Phila." is marked on top of barrel. The Wurfflein family of Philadelphia (Andrew, John and William) worked 1835-1871. They made sporting and target rifles and derringer pistols. This .45 caliber target rifle weights 12 lbs. Barrel length is 34¼", overall length is 51". Rifle has set triggers that work perfectly. Bore has good to very good lands and grooves. Although we can not see all of the bore because the scope we have will not go 51". Stock is very good to excellent. No chips, no repairs (very solid stock)! Barrel has an overall even patina.
