"Spandau GEW 98 8mm caliber rifle. German military Mauser made in 1903 at the Spandau arsenal. Rifle is fitted with a “mud cover" from WWI. Cover is marked “W over DPR". Serial numbers are non-matching. Bore is good with strong rifling and some light frosting. A desirable Mauser.
