gun is very nice but put away dry and has a patina finish , 80% original blue on cylinder traces of origina blue on fframe ; fine bore ;;;;;;;;gun shows very little evidence of firing .. works perfect in dry fire,, serial # 11848,;;;;;;; s on bottom of both grips;;;;;;;;;; has letter h on frame and barrel left side 44 caliber 8 inch barrel i only saw serial # under grip ;;;if others let me know ;;; goverment inspector cartouch on grip
