Description:
DESCRIPTION: This s/n 22457 1902 dwm Luger carbine has the standard .30 cal./7.65 mm 11-3/4" long barrel, old model frame with stock lug, grip safety, narrow trigger and wide trigger guard, DWM script on toggle, unmarked chamber, four position rear sight, ramped front site, old-model dished toggles, polished area under safety, correct wood-bottom magazine and 8 mm fluted safety lever. The gun has an unusual serial number that is in between previously-reported s/n ranges (usual reported carbine serial number ranges are 21,000-22,400 and 23,500-25,100), enhancing its collector value. Blue and straw parts are universally 99.99%, as near brand new as possible. This outstanding and lovely Luger carbine comes equipped with an original carbine stock correctly serialed to the gun and having only a few light handling marks in its original walnut finish. It contains an inlaid badge with the initials "PMR" in DWM-style script. The forestock is in identical, excellent condition. There are not many 1902 carbines offered for sale and many of those that are have been arsenal-refinished and are not original. Of the original ones that remain, few will match the condition of this superb carbine. This is an all-matching-number, all-original no excuses gun.
