Description:
A boxlock ejector by William Cashmore. Built in the 1920s,this gun has 28" barrels choked improved cylinder (.012") and modified (.019"). The bores are mint and free of rust or dents. The gun is unusual in that it is proofed for 1 oz. loads. and 2916" chambers. Most English 20s of this era were proofed at 7/8 oz and 21/2" chambers. The barrels are in proof and lock up to the action with no play. The barrels retain 95% of the original blue and the action retains traces of the original case colors. The ejectors are times and work properly. The stock is sound with no cracks or damage. The stock dimensions are 14"LOP over a leather faced pad, 11/2" at comb,and 21/2" at heel. The gun weighs 5-12 and balances on the hinge. A great all around upland gun.C&R eligible.
