Here's a Golden 39-A Mountie in 98+ condition.
It's been in a humidity controlled room for years. I don't hunt any more so this guy
stayed home . I used it a few times , till the knees quit ! I had a scope on it.
This little guy will put shot after shot in the same hole if you use good rest.
It shows only the slightest handling signs, no rust, scrapes , splits, cracks ,dirt
or any of that stuff . It's one hundred % original.
Not many of these little guys around any more, at least, not on the market.
People that have one want to keep it!!
Bottom line; the Mountie is the absolute pinnacle of lever action .22 cal rifles
