COLT TEXAS RANGER (ROYAL BLUE)COMMEMORATIVE SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER serial # T*645
This is one of only 800 .45LC, 7 1/2 Barrel revolvers in Royal Blue manufactured to Commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Texas Rangers. "TEXAS RANGER COMMEMORATIVE One Riot, One Ranger" on the barrel, wiped in silver "TEXAS RANGERS" inscribed on the back strap, a Sterling Silver star wreath motif fitted behind the hammer, and a smooth Rosewood Grip with a Miniature Silver Ranger star on one Grip with Colt Gold Medallions. The Trigger Guard is Nickel Plated, The Cylinder release is Nickel Plated, The Glass top, two drawer, walnut presentation case with red velvet-lining. The top drawer holds the 7 1/2 inch Barrel .45lc Revolver has Sterling Silver drawer pulls of the Texas State Seal and contains a Texas Ranger badge "made from a real five peso Mexican Silver Coin and set in lucite" The bottom drawer holds a copy of “The Pictorial History of the Texas Rangers bound in “Texas longhorn” by Charles Schreiner III and others. The hides came from the famous YO Ranch.
