S/N 5806, mfg. 1892, 30" Damascus barrels with original 2 5/8" chambers and fine original bores that haven't been cleaned up or honed out. Original Colt buttplate and screws line up north- south. Toplever well to right of tang screw, barrels tight on frame with forend off. Choked about .030 in both barrels, so Full chokes. Wood figured with no cracks or splits I can find. Weight 7 lbs. 10 ozs., about normal for these old guns. With .732 bore in right, and .730 in left, and shiny bores, this would make a great shooter with the proper loads and no recoil, either. One of floorplate screws is slightly buggered, but the rest are clean. All in all, a tight clean example of a hard to find model. Pre-1898, so ships direct without FFL.
