Description:
Beautiful Winchester 70 in scarce 257 Roberts caliber. S/N 180*** with matching bolt made in 1951. 98-99% Blue and Varnish overall. There is a bit of blue wear on top of receiver from previously mounted scope bases, and a short track of shallow dents in front of rear sling swivel (no doubt from a sling) but those are the only notable marks on the entire gun. The 24" barrel has an excellent bore and the mechanical functions are all smooth and correct. Early solid bolt knob. A great rifle in a scarce combination of caliber and condition.
