Description:
Built on the proven Model 700 action, the SPS Varmint has all the features you need for successful varmint and predator hunting, as well as tactical long-range shooting. The non-reflective SPS Varmint synthetic stock is designed with a wide beavertail fore end that rests solidly on sand bags or a day pack, and has an extra sling swivel stud to accommodate a bipod. The fore end is also vented for better heat dissipation. The heavy-contoured barrel and the externally-adjustable X-Mark Pro trigger produce exceptional accuracy, even with a hot barrel. Barrel and receiver have a non-reflective finish aiding the shooter in concealment. Drilled and tapped for scope mounts. .243 Winchester
