SOLD A super clean color case hardened steel frame, and fully blued Colt 1862 Police revolver, in .36 caliber, with 5 1/2" round barrel with a mint bore. Action is crisp and indexes, and locks up very well. This very fine gun was sold by Navy Arms as Replica Arms, Ridgefield, N.J long ago na d has a frame stamped Uberti symbol. The brass trigger guard and backstrap are a nice mustard yellow color from age. The nipples still blue look unfired, as does the bore, and the XX9 means made in 1963. A very solid gun made by a premier blackpowder maker. Uberti made the 2nd gen black powder parts for Colt and they were sent here for finishing , and assembly.When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
