Description:
This is a JP Sauer & Sohn K98 rifle issued to the Nazi military in 1935. It has a fairly rare "S/147/G" factory code. Only about 75,000 of this variation made. The gun itself is all matching, but the bolt is mismatched to the gun. Waffen proofs throughout, including on the stock. The metal parts are in nice condition, but there is significant thinning throughout and spotty oxidation here and there. The stock has minor dings, dents, and bruises throughout. Comes with an original sling and cleaning rod. The bore has decent rifling, but there is minor pitting throughout.
