Remington New Model Revolver

Percussion .44 cal., 6-shot round cylinder, 8" octagon barrel. Original walnut grips. Note inspector stamp on left grip. This one picked up on a Civil War battlefield (not sure which one) by the father of Erwin Roy Peterson. Also known as "Cougar Anderson" a top notch guide here in the Coeur d'Alene's before the turn of the Century.This firearm has a serial number of 69208.
