Unusual single shot percussion pocket pistol, can;t read any writing if there is any ad the surface has aged,brown patina, and patches of very fine pits. So this is an interesting gun, most likely Rupertus .36 cal percussion muzzle loader. Hammer cicks and locks i two positions, and the nipple is a bit mashed from long use. Made in 1860, maybe less than 500 made, with a rare 5" barrel as most were 3 1/2" to 4 1/4". Ameria hardwod grips aee cpmplete but have surface roughness. Brass bead front sight, and rear notch sight. Check my inventory of rare grips, unusual gun parts, barrels and holsters.
