Description:
Parker, Field & Sons were London makers from 1851 thru 1881 at various locations in London. Based on the address given on the barrel, it would appear that this gun was built between 1879 and 1881. Barrels are twist steel and have been rebrowned, back action hammer sidelocks, underlever barrel release, wedge forend attachment, pistol grip stock, full length trigger bow tang, and three folding leaves on the rear sight. The left barrel is of .500 caliber and the right barrel is 12 gauge, both barrels show moderate pitting, proof marks do not indicate "nitro". Price reduced from $2,995!!!
