SOLD PF *** This is a Browning B-78 single shot, falling block action, rifle that is factory chambered in 300 H & H Magnum. The free floating heavy sporter contour round barrel is 26 in. long, as opposed to the other calibers listed for the same release with 24 in barrels, and it has a high polish blue finish, which is drilled and tapped for scope mount. The scope rings are not included, but the base is included. The wood is grade III/IV walnut and has a fair amount of figure with a beautiful high gloss finish. The stock is a checkered pistol grip style with a Monte Carlo cheekpiece. The stock has a blued steel grip cap, Pachmayr flush mount sling swivel system and a Pachmayr Old English recoil pad. The trigger is wide, gold plated and adjustable. The gun weighs 8 pounds 9 ounces as shown. This was "THE" Browning 2010 SHOT Show Special. The gun has only been test fired and no scope has ever been mounted on it.
