We offer you an early Sturm Ruger Tang Safety version of the M77V “VARMINT” chambered in .308 Winchester.
We have a Sturm Ruger M77 "Varmint" M77V original tang safety model rifle chambered on .308 Winchester. The serial number is matching on the bolt and tells us it was manufactured in 1978. The 24" Varmint weight barrel has an excellent bore and was factory drilled and tapped for a scope block as shown. The bluing on the barrel, receiver and bottom metal is in excellent condition with very little signs of use. The stock wears the original red pad and shows several small dings and marks from use over the last 34 years. It is solid with no chips, cracks or repairs with excellent checkering panels. The factory scope rings are with the rifle as shown. In those rings sits a U.S.A. manufactured Burris Signature 3-9x40mm matte finish scope. It has the Posi-Lock feature and duplex crosshairs. A very fine and complete package that is ready to go.
