Description:
This is a one of a kind Winchester model 1885 Customized by Dave Talley and so marked. Dave was a custom gun maker for Winchester for 17 years and also made custom guns for clients. This gun has a special weight half octagon barrel that is 26 inches and 22 Long Rifle Caliber. The barrel is markes "S" for special. It has nice wood and is a good 98% condition. It also has a Tallet globe front sight and a Lyman peep rear sight. It has not been cut for an open rear sight. This gun came from Dave's private collection and there will never be any more made due t his health. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a piece of history.
