On Hold Sale Pending. US Model 1841 Robbins & Lawrence Mississippi rifle. The Lock is marked Robbins & Lawrence, 1849 Windsor,Vt. and functions fine with a brown patina. The 33" bright barrel has some pitting near the nipple and rear sight, with both sights present. The 2 band dark walnut stock has two cartouches present. The but plate is marked US. The but plate, trigger gaurd, barrel bands, and patch box are brass with a light brown patina. The 54 caliber bore has rifling present. The rifle appears original but is missing the top sling swivel.
