The condition of this Colt is in near new condition. This Colt has the high polish charcoal finish. The extractor, trigger pin and grip screw have the early nitre blued finish. The grips are the early style hard rubber grips with the early Colt logos. The magazine is the correct all blued magazine with the high polish floor plate. The grip safety, slide lock and trigger have the strong color cased finish. The barrel is correctly blued. The bore is in fine condition. This little Colt shows very little use or ever being fired. The original bluing would rate a 99% or better condition. The grips are in new condition. The color cased finish would also rate a 99% or better condition. The factory letter states that this Colt was shipped to Wilson Trading Co. New York, New York April 19th 1910. This is a very fine condition collectors grade early Colt with that stunning high polish charcoal finish. The photos do not do this pistol justice! These early Model 1908's are rarely seen in this fine of condition. Most of these popular pistols show use and wear.
