On Hold Sale Pending Jas Golcher Kentucky/Pennsylvania 45 caliber rifle circa 1850. The 34" medium weight octagon barely is signed. Jas Golcher, Philada with a light brown patina. The lock is also marked Jas. Golcher, philada. And functions. The stock is nice but has a fine hairline crack on each side of the forearm. The but stock has a great patch box. The but plate, trigger gaurd, brass eagle inlay are also brass. I think the nose cap may be german silver. Appears to be in nice original condition.
