Colt Python chambered in .357 Magnum / .38 Special caliber.
This 1980 revolver is in very good condition with some light handling marks.
This classic snake gun features a very nice 4” blued barrel with some muzzle wear, overall blued finish retains a beautiful shine with some light handling (see photos). It is equipped with Pachmayer rubber grips bearing the Colt medallion and includes an extra set of Pachmayer grips as well.
Right side of the barrel reads “Colt’s PT. F.A. MFG. CO. Hartford, Conn. U.S.A.” Left side reads “PYTHON .357”
Bore is clean and bright, and the cylinder swings out smoothly and locks up nice and tight.
This revolver does bear the German Eagle import marks on frame near cylinder; please refer to photos for more detail. These classic snake revolvers are getting more difficult to find, I personally really like the 4 inch model for shooting, but with this beauty it would also be a great addition to any Colt collection while you can still find them.
