Unissued French MAS 36 Rifle. These were supposed to be France's standard small arm during the Second World War, but the rapid Nazi victory meant many of these were in the hands of German soldiers, including at Normandy in 1944. The current rifle for your consideration was produced post-war and is in pristine condition, In fact, less than 20 rounds have been fired through this weapon. Rifle has removeable spite bayone which may be stored below the muzzle. This rifle is chambered in the original 7.5 French (MAS) caliber. An exceptional World War II era rifle for your collection.
