Egyptiam Hakim Sem-Automatic Battle Rifle in 7.92.57 Mauser. Rifle dates from 1955 and was the main rifle for the Egyptian army until the Rasheed (see my listing) and the AK47. Bore is dark but has strong rifling (see pic). Rifle is very accurate (and loud!).
