Description:
One of Rossi's top-of-the-line lever-action rifles, this is a beautiful Rossi Puma M92 rifle chambered in .44 Magnum / .44 Special. This beautiful lever-action rifle features a gloss blue finish on the barrel, lever, magazine tube, hammer, and bolt, a 24" inch octagon barrel with iron sights, a color case-hardened receiver, forend cap, and buttplate, and a deluxe Walnut stock set. This particular example is in excellent condition inside and out, and appears to have been shot very, very little if at all since leaving the factory. It is in like-new, perfect working order and has a mirror-bright, pristine bore. This Rossi rates 98% plus, with only a few tiny little handling/storage marks as deductions. As you can see from the pictures, none of these deductions take away from the exceptionally clean look of this rifle. The factory case colors on this rifle are spectacular, showing lots of vivid and bright color on every inch of metal finished this way. Also of note is the factory stock set, which is exceptionally beautiful. The smooth Walnut stock set is free from any cracks, chips, or repairs, showing only some very minor handling/storage marks visible only under close inspection. The buttstock in particular shows a lot of handsome figure and "tiger stripe" that has a lot of depth to it, almost looking like it is floating over the wood underneath. The forearm and buttstock are a great match in color and all of the factory stock hardware is intact and in excellent condition. The action is slick but tight on this Rossi, and all of the controls still feel like-new and tight. There is no doubt that this Puma M92 will still function 100% like the day it left the factory. If you have been looking for a .44 Magnum lever action rifle that is both very well-made and very handsome, this Rossi would be the perfect choice.
