We offer you a 75th Anniversary Edition Savage Arms Model 1895 308 Winchester Lever Action Rifle Manufacture in 1970
The stock has been repaired as you can see in the pictures. The bluing shows areas of “cold blue” touch up on the receiver. Making this rifle just a shooter that wears a 24 inch full octagon barrel that has an excellent bore with no issues. The stocks show wear in the finish and some marks as does the bluing. It wears Weaver scope mounts and is ready for your optics. The top of the barrel is marked "SAVAGE ARMS WESTFIELD, MASS, U.S.A. PATENTED FEB. 7 1893 / HI-PRESSURE STEEL- PROOF - TESTED - CAL .308 Win." The barrel is also marked with proof marks near the action; "26x and 16X in a circle with SP in an oval on the top flat. The left side of the action is stamped with the Savage arms emblem. The right side of the action is marked with a model 1895 stamp, with similar engraving around both markings. The right side of the stock has the Savage arms Co. 75th anniversary medallion in it. The serial number on the rifle is 0365AS making it the 365th one out of 9,999 made in 1970. Being 51 years old makes this C&R transferable.
