Description:

This is an ultra rare Walther PPK variation There were only about 600 total PP and PPKs that were ordered in this group  The barrel by the  ejection port shows the Czech Rampant lion with a 38 date and  number 928 on this one. Some say this a police order and some say not Either way it is a rare contract While the gun is an original example of a rare variation, it is in really great condition and comes with two original clips One flat bottom and one finger hook and the original DRGM and A.K.A.H holster  markings with crossed rifles  The holster is as tight as a new one
The second thing that makes this ultra rare is that it is in the scarce seven digit serial number issue At the end of 1938 the Walther factory reached the serial number 999,999 for the PPK contracts They opted to continue production with the seven digit range serial numbers It is estimated that just a few thousand PPK’s were actually produced in the seven digit serial number block before reverting to the 100.000 serial number blocks and adding a suffix K  This is a very rare PPK that falls into both rarities This does not have the loaded indicator Possibly a money saver when ordered   I have never seen another one with both rarities  offered and can’t be but a few that ever made it to the USA Certainly none left there after the Russiians arrived  Very low survival rate on these
This is a veteran bring back and has never been in a collection or offered for sale since WWII The condition is as seen in the pictures There is wear on the trigger guard on one side from going in and out of the holster - Some camera glare in the pictures  There is only minimal blue wear except the trigger guard holster wear Overall a very nice and very rare and complete  piece  Ask your questions before I will answer all requests
