Description:
Remington 700 Custom Shop Grade I in .222 Remington, made in 1984, with a 20" medium sporter weight barrel. These 1980's custom shop 700's are felt by many collectors to superior to the earlier C Grade custom shop guns in fit and finish.
The metal finish remains in 99% condition and appears to be test fired only. The stock finish remains in the same condition, but does have one dent under the left side of the receiver, likely from where a bolt from another rifle bumped against it in a rack.
It features an highly figured walnut stock with nice mineral streaking, ebony forend tip, steel grip cap, Monte Carlo stock, and the lovely high polish Custom Shop bluing.
