Colt "JOHN WAYNE COMMEMORATIVE" 3rd Generation Single Action Army (SAA) revolver. Standard edition. .45 long colt caliber. Barrel length 4.75 inches. Non-fluted cylinder. Serial number CJWC1918. John Wayne "The Duke" commemorative in a furniture grade presentation oak fitted display box with red crushed velvet interior and plaque inside. Display box locks. Original key included. Wayne signature burned into outside lid of box. New, unfired, unturned. Smooth ivory grips. Blue finish. Manufactured in 1982. Only 3,100 were made. Serial number range CJWC0001 - CJWC3100. The original tribute Colt to the most beloved of all cowboy actors - "The Duke" - produced just a few years after his death. Portrait of John Wayne etched in gold on left side of cylinder. John Wayne on horseback etched in gold on right side of cylinder. Left side of barrel has a gold etched American Eagle holding a banner with the inscription "John Wayne". Back strap has John Wayne's signature etched in gold.
Shipping to your FFL only. Inspection must be done on the premises of the receiving FFL only. Do not remove firearm from receiving FFL before inspection is completed and firearm is accepted. We provide a 3 day window to complete reasonable inspection. Inspection starts on date of delivery to receiving FFL. Do not disassemble. If you are unsatisfied, do not complete transfer.
