Description:
Parker GH 12 Gauge with 28" Damascus barrels. Serial number (113393) indicates 1902 production date. This fine gun is built on a 1 1/2 frame and was embellished with #2 grade engraving. The frame has almost no remaining case coloring and has a light gray patina.The engraving is sharp on both sides and somewhat worn on bottom. It has a capped pistol grip butt stock, double triggers, automatic safety and splinter forearm. The wood on this gun has been professionally refinished and exibits remarkable beauty. The stock is stamped with the guns serial number under the trigger guard tang indicating original wood. The fine damascus barrels exhibit a very fine exterior damascus pattern and have mirror bright bores which are choked at .005" (light IC) and .028" (lt full). The bores were professionally polished some years ago but still maintain a healthy wall thickness. The gun was recently professionally disassembled, inspected and cleaned with confirmation of safe barrel thickness. There is a small scratch in the left barrel above the forearm as shown in picture.
The very handsomely grained butt stock has a 14" LOP to the factory Dogs Head Butt Plate (chipped at heal). DAC 1 3/4", DAH 2 7/8" and neutral cast. Mechanically perfect with tight lockup and the lever to the right of center. The gun weighs 7lbs 1oz and has a letter from the Parker Gun Collectors Association.
