Description:
Produced in 1983 this “Light Twelve” A5 has seen little use. There are a few minor handling marks and some damage to the end of the magazine tube which in not visible when the gun is assembled and does not effect operation. It operates flawlessly. When you close the action it sounds like a bank vault closing. It’s hard to find that in newer guns.
Chamber is 2 3/4″ with mirror bores. Comes with Invector choke tubes Full (Browning flush type), Modified (Briley Extended) and Improved Cylinder (Briley Extended). Barrel is 28″ with a raised rib and a single bead. LOP measures 14 3/8″ to center of Browning butt plate.
Browning A5’s are getting harder and harder to find as the prices steadily climb. If you like the ability to change chokes the Japanese A5’s can’t be beat.
