Description:
Rare to find an unissued Civil War mustket with a shining mint deep cut rifled bore.

Three brass bands and brass butt blate

This rifle was used by both sides in the Civil War- this one was hanging on the wall of a collector in Alexandria, Virginia where I found it nearly 45 + years ago.
I will consider trades for other guns modern or antique
Stock has deep cut proof marks - no one has messed with this piece.

Barrel dated 1844 rear sight dated 1842 this is proper.
