Description:
SOLD PF *** This is a 1911 Fox Sterlingworth with the dished out hinge pin; referred to as the "pin gun". It has 30" #1 weight barrels and 2-5/8" chambers that are choked full/Imp mod. It is marked Model of 1911 on the underside of the forend towards the front and interestingly it has a slot in the pin on each side, rather than just one side. The wood is 13-7/8" long and then there's a new Hawkins recoil pad and a black plastic capped pistol grip. It has the Kremer's latch snap on style forend. All finishes are original and as you can see there is some nice figure under that old finish. The DOC is 1-1/2" and the DOH is 2-7/8". The gun weighs 7 lbs 6 oz.
