Description:
This is an opportunity to own an important WWII Enfield in excellent condition, built by Savage and marked “U.S. Property.” The rifle bears neither a foreign acceptance mark nor a U.S. import mark indicating that it never left the U.S. and therefore, would never have been issued.
The rifle’s condition is excellent. It has no significant dings, scratches or marks of any kind on the stock. The metal is undamaged and the finish is largely in-tact. No rust, corrosion or pitting is present. The bore is bright and shiny with crisp rifling and a small area of slight roughness that does not effect accuracy or consistency.
Matching serial number (43c9592) on action and bolt. Magazine is unmarked. All marked parts carry the Savage “S.”
