Description:

24 inch half octagon barrel. Bright bore with scattered roughness. Original sight spot is filled in and a newly cut spot has a Lyman 2-leaf flip up rear sight. Nice functioning action. Wood shows a fair amount of use with some loss towards the forearm tip. The buttstock is generally very good with a rifle syle buttplate and steel patchbox on the side. Double set triggers. Barrel retains about half the blue. Receiver is a brown color. Marked on top of the barrel is "J P Lowry" and "Calibre 40". An interesting Sharps with that "Old West" look.
