Description:
Beretta ASE 90 Olympic trap and sporting O/U. This is a Beretta Custom shop gun made toward the end of the series ( 1993 ) and has some of the modest additional engraving that was performed on the later models. The butt stock measure 14 1/2 " LOP with 1 5/8" drop at comb and 2" at heel. An adjustable comb installed would bring the drop in the comb up to whatever the shooter desires. The barrels measure 29 1/2" and are choked .025 and .035 approx. These barrels have been rebored by Eyster Heritage Gunsmiths to reflect modern Beretta HP dimensions and will produce perfect patterns with nearly all pellets in a 30" circle at 35 yards with #7 1/2 shot loads of 7/8 ounce. Higher loads ( 1 1/8 oz. ) and smaller shot size show larger pattern diameter and excellent coverage. This service was performed in 2020 and the cost was $1,200.00. ( pattern data and receipt included ). There is an extra trigger group ($500 cost)that is included with this gun as shown in the photos. The extra trigger group is included with the price for the gun.
This gun weighs 8lbs 5 oz. The gun has had relatively little use as indicated by the amount of cross bolt exposure standing out from the left side of receiver and top lever to right side of center.( see top view photo ).
