Description:
This Winchester M70 ..270 WCF - Cal was mfg abt 1946, Ser # 67XXX. The gun's bluing is abt 98% including the numbered bolt.The barrel includes
the Flip sight and original hood. The chamber is very clean w/ the magazine plate showing minimum wear. It appears used very little w/a nice
mirror bore and very distinct twist. The Stock is overal a very fine medium color walnut with two very light markings - one being on the left side
just below the Scope Bracket and the other at the lower portion of the Left Grip. (See Pics).. The stock overal is abt 85 - 90% w/no peeling.of
the finish.
The Alaskan Scope # 33 is a 2 1/2 power and very clear w/a quick release Griffin & Howe (1932) bracket (Very rare to me). I haven't seen but
very few of these .270's in this good a condition before..
I would rate this as an "NRA" very good to excellent !
