Description:
~Browning Auto-5 Standard 12ga semi automatic shotgun, dated to Pre-WWII, most likely mid to late 1930's, with a 201XXX serial number. This is a Grade II A-5, with fine floral engravings in areas of the receiver. The shotgun is by all indications a classic A-5, with a fine blued finish, in addition to a solid-ribbed barrel and Polychoke mounted to the muzzle. The stock and forend appear to be non-original, however they fit nicely and the walnut is nicely figured and checkered. The shotgun is in good working order with a smooth action and nice bore, with some finish wear and small blemishes present in areas. Please refer to the photos to further assess the condition of the shotgun. A wonderful example of a pre-WWII Auto-5!
