Colt model "New Frontier .22" revolver. .22 long rifle caliber single action frontier revolver. Barrel length 4.25 inches. Fluted cylinder. Serial number G212883. John Wayne "The Duke" limited edition commemorative in a furniture grade presentation pine fitted display box. New and unfired. Left side of barrel is etched with sterling silver plated banner with inscription "John Wayne - The Duke". Manufactured in 1984. 5,000 were manufactured. To some, John Wayne is known as Hondo, McLintock and the legendary Rooster Cogburn. To others, he is simply "Duke".
The barrel is blued, the frame is color case-hardened, includes an adjustable rear sight and a unique blade front sight in keeping with the original "frontier peace-maker". Its deep blue finish is accentuated by a nickel ejector rod, trigger and hammer. Inside the display box is a sterling silver plated plaque etched with a portait of John Wayne and the house in Winterset, Iowa where he was born.
Shipping to your FFL only. Inspection must be done on the premises of the receiving FFL only. Do not remove firearm from receiving FFL before inspection is completed and firearm is accepted. We provide a 3 day window to complete reasonable inspection. Inspection starts on date of delivery to receiving FFL. Do not disassemble. If you are unsatisfied, do not complete transfer. Promptly return item using original packaging. We do not reimburse return shipping cost. Add shipping cost of $45.
