Description:
This is a J. Barlow / Patent bag flask for an English Colt Dragoon case. Rare and seldom seen, especially in this condition. The flask retains at least 90% of its finish altho "streaked" somewhat and some "age spots". There are 3 or 4 small dent from usage, but overall very nice in appearance. This flask came out of one of my English Dragoon cases when I was fortunate enough to aquire a better one. Pictured is the cased English Dragoon set the flask came out of. The set is NOT for sale, just for example as to appearance. And yes, that is a Rosewood case! 1 1/4, 1 3/8, 1 1/2 marked on charger. This flask is often used with a .44 cal.
