Custom Oberndorf Mauser rifle in 30-06 by master gunmaker Vic Olson. 22 ½” barrel with ramp front sight and full band sling swivel. Action has new three panel checkered bolt knob, jeweled bolt, two position side swing safety. Upgraded bottom metal with hinged floorplate and release inside trigger guard. Fully adjustable trigger.
Classic style figured English Walnut stock with cheekpiece, point pattern checkering with mullered borders that wraps around the forend and over the top of pistol grip. Ebony forend tip. Single screw steel pistol grip cap, 13 5/8” LOP over a checkered steel Neidner style buttplate.
Schmidt and Bender 4x36 scope with heavy duplex reticle in Control rings and bases.
The rifle is a pleasure to shoot and from the handling marks appears to have been hunted.
