SOLD! Very sharp post-war Savage Model 99 mfd. in 1951 in .300 Savage. Mounted with Classic Weaver K4 Scope on Williams Quick Convertible Side Mount with Original Sights. Wood shows typical wear for 70 year-old rifle, blue on receiver and barrel are excellent. Cartridge counter. Sling mounts installed in place of forearm screw and drilled in bottom of butt stock. Pachmayr recoil pad on back of butt stock. Pistol grip with checkering and original cap. Color of weaver scope is worn on the ends due to long term storage in felt bag case. It works and is aligned to iron sights at 50. Overall very good gun with unique, vintage side mount scope with sights. Lever code 15C (1951). Pictures show condition and rifling. Shipping $45 to your FFL. Cannot ship direct. Can sell ammo at reasonable price due to shortage.
